I (marius851000) spend too much time writing this newsletter. For this reason, I decided to move this blog into dokuwiki, an easy to use wiki software, so you can edit the upcoming weekly. Permission is as follow : You can not edit already published page. To help with migration, newsletter older than the 2021-12-06 (included) are not hosted on the wiki, but under the old/ url of this website, containing static content.

1. After the publication of the past week newsletter, I (marius851000) will create a new WIP page for the current week, copied from the template for a page.
2. You can edit this page during the week.
3. I (marius851000) will publish this page at the end of the week. I'll also add the portraits and sprites change, which are automatically generated with sprite_news_to_pmd_rs and check that everything is correct, changing content if they aren't.

• When adding content, ensure it fit the goal of the website.
• Overall rules.
  • First, your content should be legal in France (I'll check for that). Of course, I don't expect you to know what is legal in France, so you shouldn't worry too much about it. If I judge/is made aware of an illegal content in France laws, I'll just remove it, and tell you. I won't hold it against you.
  • Other rules, based upon the SkyTemple's Discord rules :
    • Be nice to each other.
    • Don't spam.
  • Rules that differ from SkyTemple :
    • You are allowed to link to patches. You should however ensure that the patch doesn't contain the game itself (as long as it under 10MiB, you shouldn't worry too much about it). In case of doubt, ask me (if it was posted in the SkyTemple Discord server, is a link to the SkyTemple hack list or the hack archive on this site, it should be good). You aren't allowed to link to ROM or discuss of illegal way to obtain them. You can discuss of legal way to obtain them, like godmode9 or other way to dumb cartdridge (take care of DRM, however). Link to patch to convert rom from a specific region/revision to another is also allowed, even thought they may contain copyrighted content, like the translation for a US to EU patch.
    • NSFW/lewd content and fetishes: That's complicated… You shouldn't share/link to those content, but you can talk about them when referencing a relevant content, like JCATQFTUO. Do not insist on the NSFW/lewd/fetish part, but tell the reader they exist. I will also upload them the archive, with an age verification (not visible now, as I have no such hacks for now). Please note that what is concerned by that is vague, and I’ll keep a veto for what enter in this category, even if it isn’t NSFW/lewd or fetishes.
      • pornographic : Containing an explicit depiction of sexual activity.

• 25/10/2022 - Added the close that I can veto what is NSFW/lewd or fetishes, or what content should abide to those rules.
• 25/10/2022 - Actually reviewed local laws related to hosting pornography (for the archive). It should be compatible with it if the need for hosting such content appear.
• 10/12/2021 - rewrite for clarity. Added definition of pornography.
• 10/12/2021 - Remove the mention that content shouldn't be illegal where the user live. That's not my problem (I think ?).
