Hello, all. It's me, Monochrome Kirby. You probably know that I've been very inactive in the PMD community for... um, quite some time now. And that is because I have fallen into a slump of demotivation which I haven't gotten out of; in other words, I don't have the drive to work on my hack.
As such, Dark Destiny has been put on an indefinite hold . I'm sorry to disappoint, but I don't feel I'm getting out of this funk anytime soon... Hope everyone understands. I had a whole thing going in the beginning, but I simply don't find it in me anymore.

Adds an option in the UI to continue the music after exiting the floor.

Add a patch ("ChangePokemonGroundAnim") to replace the giant switch that determines each pokémon's idle animation by a table with 2048 entries. Each entry is an ID for the type of idle used by the sprite.
May not work if the switch has been modified (should still work correctly with minor edits such as redirecting some jumps to one of the 4 switch possibilities).
Add functions to get/set values in the new hardcoded table.
Add an entry in General pokémon data to edit each one's idle type with the "ChangePokemonGroundAnim" patch. See Edit Pokémon Idle Animation Type skytemple-files#178
Import/Export should work with this value.

How to access it
You have two options :
Open the rom in the editor, open the debugger, open the unionall script, search for coro EVENT_DIVIDE, add the line of code $SCENARIO_MAIN_BIT_FLAG[42] = 1; after the line telling you to not do that, start the game, load an endgame save and go up the stair in the crosswalk
You can use this patch , that already have a patched unionall. Just go to top of the stair now
⮝ Some planWriting this newsletter took me quite some time (a few hourss a week, not including programming new stuff. But I don't complain about having to do this). I plan to allow other person to edit unpublished articles. I still need to put this in place, but I'm thinking to do something similar to flightgear monthly newsletter, permiting anyone to modify an article (I'll only allow changing those that weren't already published), via dokuwiki, so I just have to proofread, add missing elements and changed portraits/sprites, publish and create a new page for the next week. If you have any though on this subject, please contact me (and that will mean I'll have to backup the server too) (and I'll have to check performance too. It's PHP, and it's not known to be the fastest language around (unlike rust or C++, I mean. I actually use nginx to serve the blog, and a custom software in rust for the hack archive, proxied via nginx)) (of course, I'll provide dump of publicly accessible elements).
