Everyone knows the old game of telephone, passing a message from person to person and waiting to see what the end result will turn out to be...
So what if we did that with SkyTemple?
MysteryMail is our attempt to recreate that! How it works is the following:
One of our admins creates the first cutscene... -> The first participant receives the cutscene and makes their own... -> The second participant only sees the first participant's cutscene and continues...!
This cycle continues in the attempt to keep the story on track while only getting to see the previous participant's scene! Since you'll only be scripting a single cutscene in SkyTemple, we encourage any and all newcomers looking to try out the application!

Welcome to all the new members! The next MysteryMail event will start in January 2022. To participate, check out how-it-works to read up on the rules and obtain the participating role! (This also works backwards. To remove the role, just un-react to the message)
Participants will be pinged a week before the event starts to select a time frame that works for them. This can be done in general, though please ping a mod when you select your time if none are online.
In addition, there already were a small hack that were already done to test the concept. It is named "The thief". Guess who's done with finals for now and actually working in SkyTemple while they can? :justmewit:
An update this time without revealing anything too large. I've been scripting scenes in SkyTemple that weren't exclusively the intro, and I'm in the middle of creating the map for the area I've been waiting to reveal for a bit now: Sun Town itself, of course! While it's not yet ready for public viewing, the bones are there.
After the town is finished, I'll learn how to do scripting for talking to 'mons in different plot sequences, then delve into the scripting of the scenes themselves. I don't quite have anything suitable to show off... yet... but I thank all of you for your patience. There will be something tangible for you all soon, but for now, I leave you off with a little something.

It should be possible to import them in PSMD with [[https://projectpokemon.org/home/tutorials/rom/editing-roms-with-sky-editor/3ds-mystery-dungeon-mods/psmd-only-portrait-mod-r49/|Sky Editor]] (and maybe in GTI as well, with some tools I don't know/have yet to exist). If you didn't knew, Sky Editor is what turned into DreamNexus (althougth DreamNexus doesn't have 3ds rom editing implemented as of today). It should not be confused with SkyTemple.

Dunno if y'all remember me, but I was the artist making the Sans sprites for the meme mod replacing Skunktank with Sans. I finally have completed the Sans portraits. Even though Skunktank uses just two, I was having fun and decided to do all of them! Dunno if me and my bf will ever finish the meme mod...lol

This is a custom special process that allows you to check if a Chimecho Assembly member's name is equal to a name that you define (by editing this file)! Supports both US and EU versions, just be sure to comment/uncomment the correct region labels.
First argument is the assembly slot (0 is player, 1 is partner, 5 and onwards are recruitables). Returns 0 if the names are not equal, and 1 if equal.
