Hey! This channel is for submissions for the hack jam. Deadline is May 28th 4pm UTC. Submissions rules: - Only submit when you are done. Do not make any changes after submitting. - Submissions must contain one XDelta patch for the clean US ROM (not 'Xenophobia'!) or clean EU ROM and must state for which region they are. - Submissions must have a short description of what the hack is about. - Submissions must either have one video showcasing the hack or three screenshots. - Submissions must contain Discord mentions for all people that worked on the hack. - Each person can only submit one hack. General Jam rules: - The topic of the jam is An Unlikely Team. We need to see this interpreted in your game somehow. - The gimmick of this jam is Have a Pokémon not present in the base game take an important role. You should really try to include this in your game. - There are multiple categories your hack can receive awards for (see below). - A team of volunteers judges the hacks for each category. - Hacks must be first submitted for the jam / made for it. - There is no minimum length, but it must be playable, meaning by selecting "New Game" it starts. - The games must be in English. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Distant Connection by @runway55 A story that has a small possibility of being expanded on and I would consider a prologue, I present to you my first ever hack. This is a story of a human turned Pokemon found on the beach by a team. While that team is out of town helping him get back to his world, the human stays back in town and another Pokemon begins to see the human as someone they can bond with. This hack has no dungeons and is roughly 13-18 minutes, varies based on how fast of a reader you are. Screenshots and patch are in the .zip file, and the patch is for the US version. (Longer with replaying) Brief plot summary: A prequel to my WIP hack called "Explorers Of The Merge", FACTEOTW is both a comedy and a tragedy at the same time! Taking inspiration from the works of Shakespeare, this hack takes place entirely underwater 5000 years in the past, in the middle of a clan strife between two fish clans. Where will you take Finny, will you cause the world to end? Or will you perhaps get distracted with countless other things? Tested in Drastic for Android and DeSmuME for Windows. V1.1 fixes a sequence break and credits bug.
